Go back to the days when men were men and sweets were lovingly created by hand, the days of Humbugs and Sherbet, of Aniseed Balls and 'Soor Plooms'.
Derek and Gloria Shaw come from a long line of confectioners; Gloria's family has been making and selling delicious sweets since 1879.
Derek learned the craft from Gloria's father, and having run factories for some of the best known names in sweets - including Barker & Dobson and the House of Clarks, has returned to his first love - producing hand-crafted traditional sweets - in the former James Keiller factory in Dundee.
All the sweets are hand-made in small batches using restored equipment made of copper and brass. This technique allows them to offer a huge variety; take a look at the famous "wall of sweets" in the factory shop.
